Out of School Youth programme aimed to cover the dropout students / youth from Schools and Colleges under HIV/AIDS prevention Programmes and also to sensitize them on Voluntary Blood Donation activity.

 OSY Programme started in the UT of Puducherry 2019 in Pondicherry and is being implemented through the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sankathan (NYKS) which aims to cover the youth though villages under HIV/AIDS prevention Programmes and also to sensitize them on Voluntary Blood Donation activity. Awareness programme was carried out in the members of active NYKS Youth Clubs and MadharSangams, Women Groups at Villages.

The activity grants to 100 Youth Clubs and Mahilamandals @ Rs.5,000/- each in Pondicherry region have been released every year to the NYK, Puducherry to conduct of awareness programme at village level.

Out of School Youth (OSY) Programme started during the year 2019, which is implemented in the active Youth Clubs and Mahila Mandals through the Nehru Yuvak Kendra Sangadhan, Puducherry.

• All the existing representatives of existing Youth Clubs and Mahila Mandals have been sensitized/trained and the activity grants to the clubs have been released through NYK.
